Recently, Dr Stephen Coles, NVC Board Member and respected Veterinarian was named the recipient of the 2017 People Award in Zoo’s Victoria Hall of Fame. This award is in recognition of the expert veterinary dentistry services that Dr Coles has generously volunteered to the Melbourne Zoo for more than 28 years, and the significant donation of equipment for Melbourne Zoo’s veterinary department to assist with the ongoing exceptional care of the animals in the Zoo’s collection.
