World Veterinary Day 2018 posted - 30/Apr/2018
On Saturday we celebrated World Veterinary Day! As a community that is built on the hard work of veterinary professionals, we want to celebrate and recognise the dedication that the veterinary industry offers to their clients. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness of the contribution veterinary professionals have, to improve animal health and welfare all over the world. The 2018 World Veterinary Day theme is the impact of the Veterinary Profession in Sustainable Development, and how they help to improve livelihoods, food security and safety. An example of this is their role in preventing and controlling animal diseases to ensure safe and high-quality food for both people and animals.
